I just got finished reading a new training course that teaches you how to make money by “flipping blogs.” It’s called “BlogFlipz” by Tony Shepherd & Tony Newton. The idea behind flipping blogs is creating blogs that make money, and then selling them for a profit. This system has been personally used by Tony Newton for several years and has enabled him to flip hundreds of blogs. Each blog returns a huge profit on the time and expense taken to create them.
- A blog can be created and setup on autopilot in an hour that can be sold instantly for $50-$100.
- A blog can be built with 10-20 pages and left to mature in the search engines for 6-12 months and then sold for $500-$1,000.
- At the top end of the scale, a blog can be updated daily for a couple of years and sold for $15 million just like the sale of Bankaholic.com.
So there’s lots of potential to earn money from creating and selling blogs!
BlogFlipz is an easy read at only 28 pages. However, don’t let the number of pages fool you into thinking there’s not a lot of information in it. The authors pack this course with all meat and no fluff! I learned a lot from BlogFlipz, especially from the recommended resources.
BlogFlipz teaches you three methods of flipping blogs:
- Method #1: The Auto Blog
- Method #2: The Product Targeting Blog. This type of blog is created specifically to target an affiliate product
- Method #3: The Unique Content Blog. This blog would have unique content posted regularly to increase visitors and to build a relationship with them (just like this blog:)
It will also give you suggestions on free WordPress themes to use for your blogs–the same themes that Tony uses to build and sell his blogs. I found this to be worth the small price of this course alone! I never knew these themes existed, how great they looked, and how easy they were to navigate.
Here is my issue with BlogFlipz though. I did not think this course was for the absolute blogging newbie. Even though the authors walk you through how to setup, promote and sell your blog, there seem to be assumptions made that the reader knows what the authors are talking about. If you’ve setup a self-hosted WordPress blog in the past, you should be as good as gold. This course will be no problem for you to comprehend. However, if you don’t know what a cPanel or Plugin is, then you will have to learn about these things from another source because BlogFlipz assumes you already know a lot about having a hosting account, and WordPress.
Also, if you are going to add some paid plugins to your blog that post auto content, just check with the developers of those plugins to see if you need a developer’s license to sell those blogs with these plugins on them. Otherwise, you can just populate the blogs with a year’s worth of content, and then sell them without the plugins.
So my final verdict on BlogFlipz? Absolutely give it a go if you’re familiar with WordPress and you would like to learn how to flip blogs for extra money. If you’re not familiar with WordPress but are prepared to do a little research online to get yourself up to speed, then you can definitely learn how to do this. The process just might take a little longer than it would for someone that already knows how to build blogs.
