Here’s how it’s done

It starts by finding old mango trees, which are often no longer bearing fruit. Farmers clear the land to make way for new crops, and sometimes, they simply burn the old trees.
Cutting the Wood
The mature mango tree is cut into sections while it’s still fresh, with each piece sized perfectly for the product. For larger pieces, multiple sections may need to be joined together.
Shaping the Wood
The outer bark and outer wood layers are shaved off, and the piece is shaped.
Drying Process
Each piece that has been shaped goes through a drying process. This step is crucial to ensure the wood retains its form, becomes stronger, and is protected from insects and mold.
